Driving nutritional security in villages

Parmarth (P.S.S.S)

India already bears a disproportionate burden of malnutrition in the world. COVID-19 exacerbated this situation. Small and marginal farmers have inadequate amount of land to cater to nutritional diversity for their families. In partnership Parmarth (PSSS) and village panchayats, a community kitchen garden is being cultivated in every village of the programme. Women are driving governance of these gardens, which will ensure equitable access to vegetables and nutrition for everyone in these villages.
